Load banks play a vital role in the commissioning, testing and long-term verification of data center infrastructure. As data centers expand in scale, increase in power density and grow more complex in system architecture, operators can use controlled simulated loads to verify whether the performance of power supply and distribution as well as cooling systems meets design standards while ensuring the safety of active IT equipment.
This series of load banks is designed and manufactured by Shenzhen ZENITHSUN Electronics Tech. Co., Ltd. specifically for data center applications, featuring high reliability, precision and safety. Working as server simulators, they can be directly mounted into server racks to replace physical servers. The units convert electrical energy into heat via resistors and are deployed for acceptance testing of data center infrastructure to verify the performance of rack PDUs, power distribution circuits and cooling systems. Air-cooled and liquid-cooled cooling options are available with multiple power ratings, supporting local control and remote communication control. The contactor model achieves static loading by switching resistor banks. The intelligent SCR model adopts DSP+SCR closed-loop control and supports constant-power and dynamic step loading to meet GPU load simulation requirements for AIDC. Comprehensive electrical and thermal protections are integrated into the equipment to ensure test safety.
Additionally, ZENTIHSUN also provide:
1)Containerized load banks are used for full-load acceptance testing and regular annual load maintenance of data center diesel generator sets, and can remove engine carbon deposits via loaded operation.
2)Permanent load banks can be integrated with diesel generators, UPS units and supporting electrical infrastructure. Routine tests on emergency power capacity, load distribution characteristics and system response can be carried out without business interruption. Permanent load banks help projects meet various compliance requirements, mitigate power supply risks and ensure reliable operation of critical power systems under emergency conditions.
3)Liquid-cooled load banks are widely adopted to test liquid cooling circuits and auxiliary equipment. These load banks apply thermal load directly to the coolant to verify the performance of water pumps, heat exchangers, CDU (Cooling Distribution Unit), control valves and monitoring systems. With liquid cooling tests, operators can verify flow rates, supply-return temperature difference, alarm logic and fault switching sequences before connecting high-value IT hardware.
